Working through difficulty with an experienced, accredited Clinical Psychologist.
Alongside my specialist work in chronic pain psychology, I offer individual psychological therapy for adults experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, going through a difficult period in your life, or simply feeling that something is not right, I can help. Therapy is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you build lasting change.
I offer therapy for a range of common mental health difficulties, including:
Generalised anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, panic, and phobias. Therapy can help you understand what is driving your anxiety and develop practical strategies to manage it.
Persistent low mood, loss of motivation, feelings of hopelessness, and withdrawal from things you once enjoyed. We work together to understand what is maintaining depression and build routes back towards a life that feels worthwhile.
Work-related stress, burnout, overwhelm, or stress arising from life circumstances. Therapy can help you regain a sense of control, set limits, and develop more sustainable ways of managing demands.
Significant life changes — a new job, the end of a relationship, becoming a parent, moving, retirement — can be unexpectedly difficult even when they are positive. Therapy provides a space to make sense of change and find your footing.
Grief following the death of someone important, or other significant losses including relationship breakdown, loss of health, or loss of identity. There is no right way to grieve, and therapy offers a supported space to find your own way through.
Longstanding patterns of self-criticism, perfectionism, or feelings of not being good enough. Therapy can help you understand where these patterns come from and gently begin to change them.
Sleep problems are often closely connected to anxiety, pain, or low mood. I integrate evidence-based sleep techniques — including CBT for insomnia (CBT-I) — into therapy where relevant.
Reduce stress, improve focus, and increase your overall sense of well-being with evidence-based mindfulness training.
